Had the best time in this cooking class! Frank kept everything interesting and engaging and answered every question we had. We spent majority of the class going through each step in the pizza process one by one, and I really enjoyed having the hands on experience at the end. I have made pizza at home many times prior to this class, but I could never figure out the secret to a proper New Haven style Apizza. Now I’m confident I can recreate this at home and I can’t wait to put all the new knowledge to the test.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an incredible experience with Chef Frank and Dave at the New Haven Pizza School! We had so much fun during the master class learning how to make authentic New Haven-style pizza from start to finish. Chef Frank and his culinary-trained helper Dave were knowledgeable, engaging, hilarious, and made the entire class feel welcoming and hands-on. Chef Frank is incredibly funny and interesting, keeping everyone entertained while sharing so much knowledge and passion for pizza. We learned everything from the dough, sauce, and baking process to the fascinating history of pizza and how the Industrial Revolution brought Italians to the United States and helped shape New Haven pizza culture. It was the perfect blend of food, history, and technique. One of the best parts was how simple and approachable they made it to recreate at home. Using whole milk mozzarella and a tomato sauce with just oregano and salt showed that great pizza does not need to be complicated. The instruction was clear, and easy to follow. Stretching the pizza dough ourselves was such a fun part of the experience too! Highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves pizza, cooking, history, or learning ne

What a great experience! For the holidays, I gifted my husband this pizza class. We’ve been making pizza at home but have never taken a class before. New Haven style is our favorite so we were very excited to learn all about it. Frank was so knowledgeable and even took us through the history of New Haven pizza. He made everything really simple, and we can’t wait to try what we learned at home. And you get to each delicious pizza while you learn! I would highly recommend taking a class with Frank, it makes a great date night.

New Haven Pizza School made for a super fun filled date night. My husband and I learned so much about dough and sauce (who knew)??!! It was a great combination of history, humor, and hands-on experience. We were especially lucky to have both Frank Zabski (pizza) and special guest Chef Ray Gennaro (dessert) guiding us through the evening. An immersive experience in the heart of New Haven (recently crowned Pizza Capital of the United States). Ah-beetz!!!
